There is something about clean white line's that gets me every time. Adding touches of pinks, blues, and yellows accents it perfectly and makes it dream-like for a little baby girl.

These days it is just too easy to go onto Pinterest and not come up with original ideas.....I can't say anything though because I am also a Pinterest addict. However, moodboards are a great way to stir up ideas and work out what line of design/decor you want to go with for your little bundle of joy (or joy's!!).

I have found that using pinterest, ikea catalogues, next catalogues and other decor websites, are a great way to assemble your own moodboard. You may think it is going to be a complete miss match when tearing out clippings of what you like, but once you lay them all out, you will find that there will be a common link between them all. For this first nursery inspiration, I have stuck with whites for the nursery furniture and walls, and added personality through the accessories. Etsy is a great place for getting personal items for the little one (such as the personalised 'Ruby' photo above created by ZaraStationery for £7.86, and the Hot Air Balloon Baby Mobile below for £115.29 by sunshineandvodka).

If you aren't a fan of bold colours for walls and furniture, adding colour via accessories is definitely the way to go......'Simple and Pretty'.
